Mocko ("we", "us") operates mocko.net, an interview practice platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase). If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn instead, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider.
Depending on what you choose to fill in, your profile may also include: full name, username, bio, industry, education, location, gender, phone number, and social links. Each of these has its own visibility control in Settings, and none are required.
To use Mocko's core features, we store:
We use your information to operate and improve Mocko: running mock interviews, scoring your responses, tracking your progress over time, and showing leaderboards to users who opt in.
Your recordings and transcripts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for automated scoring and feedback. They are used only to generate your results and are not used to train Anthropic's models.
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make Mocko work:
In Settings, you can mark your profile public or private, choose exactly which fields (industry, education, location) are visible to others, opt in or out of the leaderboard, and control which email notifications you receive.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our systems.
Mocko is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
